Happy Holidays. There I said it. The world didn't end.

Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa. Hey, we are all all still here.

I am sick to death of the arrogant people who think that “Happy Holidays” is a denial of Christmas. I've got news for you asses; there are multiple Holidays at this time of year. Happy Holidays just includes them all. We live in a pluralistic society. We can acknowledge everyone's traditions.

To those of you on the other side of the holiday bitching; you also need to get a grip. “I know 'Happy Holiday' is just a way to sneak in a Merry Christmas”. So what if it is? If I say Happy Holidays, pick at least two and enjoy them. If it makes you feel better hold them in reserve for Groundhogs Day and Valentine's Day, go ahead. My point is wishing someone a happy anything should not be offensive.

Which brings me back to my “Keep Christ in Christmas” friends-- they would loose there freaking mind if I wished them a Happy Hanukkah. But these are the same assholes who think that Keith Ellison should not take the oath of office using the Koran.

What that really means is "bills that reporters did not deem worthy covering until they write their 'look at all the silly, sinister things they do in the Capitol' article."

All bills are publicly available. Some go under the radar because the radar isn't turned on.

OK its been about 5 months since I posted. But hey PA has passed 2 laws so far this year!

I'm starting to think that we will see a MAJOR paradigm shift on many issues.

Something has got to give with health care- the current system is working against itself. (For example a $10 co-pay almost forces parents to take their kids to the doctor for the sniffles. A horrible waste of resources)

Roads and bridges can't be funded by a fuel tax. Education funding will need to change, and although I don't agree with the Commonwealth Caucus our Sales and Use Tax in PA takes a lawyer AND an accountant to figure out.

OK folks you heard it here first- Social Security will be to Rick Santorum what health care was to Harris Wofford. If there is no progress by November 2006 BYE BYE Rick.
